28 Hour "G" License Course

The Florida "G" license is a 28-hour course designed to prepare students for licensure as an armed security officer in accordance with Florida Chapter 493. Through Trained 2 Conceal’s Private Security Officer Training Programs, the student meets the minimum standards for licensure through the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services. This license ensures that the public is served by private security officers who are ethical, qualified and well-trained.

Requirements: You need to be at least 21 years of age and have not been convicted of a felony.

Student must have completed a D or PI Course to take this class.
Items to bring to class: Notepad, black pen, highlighter, official photo-id (Drivers License, Passport, etc..)

Class Includes:

  • 28 Hour "G" License Course with Professionally Trained and K Licensed Firearm Instructor
  • Finger Printing
  • Photo
  • Certificate of Completion
  • This is a Three Day Course Schedule

Student Requirements:

  • .38 revolver or 9mm, .40 or .45 caliber pistol is required
    3+ speed loaders or 3+ magazines
    Quality duty holster and loader/magazine pouches
    (No SOB, shoulder ,cross draw, or ankle holsters)
    Comfortable clothing that provides protection from both the sun and ejected brassIf you are bringing a handgun to the range on, the weapon should be brought to the range unloaded and encased. All student weapons will be subjected to a safety inspection prior to live fire.

Ammunition included for 9mm. Up-charge for .380 cal, 38 cal, .40 cal, 45 cal will apply.

Duty Belt and 9 mm firearm rentals for a  $20.00 fee.

Range location information will be giving during class.
